The First and the Last

I'm a terrible blogger. I've never been much for journaling and I never kept a diary growing up. During my missionary training I was very excited to start a blog to share my experience with all those who have been so very supportive of me. I tried many times to start writing, in fact, I thought up several blog topics complete with catchy titles, but I never actually sat down to type it out. I dropped the ball, and I apologize for that.

This is my first and last posting on this blog. Do not fret, I have started a new blog here: http://neverstopcaring.blogspot.com/. I decided to start a new blog because as many of you know, I have a new placement site. My time with Restoration Generation is over. I am grateful for my time in that placement. I met some incredible people, learned valuable skills, and became more aware of the damage caused by Superstorm Sandy and the struggles connected with long term disaster relief. My new placement is in North Carolina at the Hinton Rural Life Center, helping low income families with home repairs. I am very excited about it! Hinton is a fantastic place AND I hopefully get to use some of those aforementioned skills I picked up in Jersey.

I have been at Hinton for only a few days now so hopefully after I get more settled in I will be able to make a new post on my other blog soon. Keep a look out for it!

Thanks for reading!
